Two ways to cement your love for beer… in cement
The Los Angeles craft beer scene is ever-growing, but it’s looking like this will be a year of new beer for Angelenos. And there are a couple of ways you can not only be a part of keeping the craft beer momentum going, but also have your name etched in it!
LA River Brewing Company
Along with the soon-to-open Angel City Brewery in Downtown Los Angeles, a new brewery is hoping to win over your hearts and a little of your wallet in order to open its Culver City brewery. An ambitious Kickstarter campaign will fund the new L.A. River Brewing Company, of which its beers include releases such as the Silverlake Hopster IPA, Rolling Brown Out, It’s Always Beach Saison, and Valley Blonde.
For $25 or more, your name is listed on the website and inscribed permanently on the wall of the brewhouse. Currently, the Kickstarter project has 282 backers and just under $30,000 – with $45,000 left and only eight more days to do it. If the campaign is successful, you’ll see “Girls Who Like Beer” on that wall! The time to pledge is now!

Beer Belly
The popular Koreatown craft beer bar has been around for a little while, but now they really need our help expanding. In order to embrace all great things about living in Los Angeles – great beer, great food, great company, and great WEATHER! Which is why Beer Belly is taking on a new project of building an outdoor patio where you can enjoy all of these things.
A minimum of $20 will get you a Beer Belly pint glass and a beer, or a Beer Belly Hat. $125 will get your name “immortalized” on the patio – engraved in on a wooden plank on the deck. There are also private parties, VIP extras, and more. The Indiegogo campaign is $335 of $4,000 needed, but has 35 days left if you want to save up some dollars for that inscription.
