Drink to Independence: Beer fest celebrating Belgian Independence Day
This weekend, Beer Fest for Beer Geeks is bringing nearly 60 beers to Stout in Hollywood for its first ever Belgian Beer Fest, Drink to Independence.
The fest features 28 breweries, most of which are Belgian and six non-Belgian. There, are a few rare beers pouring on Saturday, including Lost Abbey’s Framboise De Amoros (sour aged for a year in red wine barrels), an unblended Lambic from Brouwerij Oud Beersel, Brouwerij Alvinne’s Wild West (aged in French Pomerol Barrels with French Plums), and a five year old La Trappe Quad and La Trappe Isid.
VIP access gets ticketholders early entrance at 4:00 pm along with 15 drink tickets and three bonus tickets for access to rare, specialty bottles. Regular admission ticketholders receive 15 drink tickets with access to the festival at 5:00 pm. Everyone has the option of purchasing additional tickets, including the specialty bottle tickets. Food is sold separately but festival-goers can take advantage of Stout’s Half-Off Happy Hour food menu during and after the fest.
